A Note From Our Pastor
Welcome to McKendree UMC Website! McKendree has been a part of Nashville Downtown for over 200 years! We are excited about what is happening downtown and believe God has placed us between Commerce and Church Streets for a time such as this. We are a church with a great history but we are also a church for now. Our worship services are filled with the Holy Spirit and God is moving in mighty ways as we reach out to our neighbors in Nashville.
We believe the Lord is doing great things here! Come join us as we pray for a great awakening in Nashville!

Traditional Worship Services (Jeremiah 29:11)

 Our 11:00 a.m. service is a service of Praise and Worship to God. We meet in the main sanctuary of McKendree United Methodist Church. Click here for directions. Music is provided by one of our choirs, accompanied by piano and pipe organ. We praise God with songs from the United Methodist hymnal. Pastor Tom shares the scripture and leads us in applying God’s truths to our lives. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.

New Wine Fellowship Services (Ephesians 4:11-12, Joel 2:24)

New Wine Fellowship is a ministry of McKendree Church and now meets in the main sanctuary on 523 Church Street in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The environment is casual but the atmosphere is genuine and sincere.
Pastor Tom Halliburton shares truths from scripture every Sunday that are applicable to today's issues. The music is centered on praising and thanking God for who He is and inviting the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Come as you are - strong coffee and fellowship are in abundance!
